Gulf Horizon Group-A Background
Gulf Horizon Group was founded in 1995 by Mr. Homood Fahd Al-Bakawi. The Group started with the trading division with various products for building materials.
In 1996 Gulf Horizon became the agents for Beckers Group from Sweden for decorative and industrial paint products.
In 2002 Gulf Horizon became the agents of strasservil from France. Also in 2005, Gulf Horizon started offering luxury paints from Oikos from Italy for exterior and interior decorations.
In 2015 Gulf Horizon signed an agreement with Tnemec to license its technology to manufacture industrial paints and putty.
In 2017 Gulf Horizon made an agreement with Afffresco from Italy for bridges and tunnels decorative industrial paint system.
Gulf Horizon became a known name in Saudi Arabia for high end decorative paints and high-quality finishing. Gulf Horizon initial focus has been on luxury homes and prestigious commercial buildings and hotels. Then Gulf Horizon moved into contracting and manufacturing. Gulf Horizon Group had a steady growth over the years.
To manage this growth Gulf Horizon Group structured its business into three main units:

2. Gulf Horizon Trading
3. Gulf Horizon Manufacturing
Gulf Horizon Paint Factory: We hold a valid license for our paint factory to manufacture all kinds of paint and putty products. The factory is fully operational, covering approximately 5000 sq.m, and is located in Dammam 2nd Industrial City. We are proud to have Tnemecs as our technical partner, providing expertise and support to enhance our product offerings.
Gulf Horizon is founded on product innovation, and the company has sustained its pioneering heritage with the development of high-performance industrial coatings. These coatings are designed for a range of applications, including superior abrasion, chemical and corrosion resistance, interior linings, seamless flooring and wall systems, architectural steel and metal coatings, and fluid-applied thermal insulation.
We conduct exhaustive research and testing, and decades of in-use performance have proven the exceptional durability of these substrate coatings. Additionally, our engineered coatings technology includes the most advanced polymers, fluoropolymers, epoxy resins, reinforcing additives, and thermoset binder resins etc.
